The Industrial Internet Summit 2019, guided by the MIIT and jointly hosted by the CAICT, AII and CIC, was held on 21 February 2019 at China National Convention Center in Beijing. H.E. Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, addressed at the Opening Ceremony which was chaired by Mr. Zhang Feng, Chief Engineer of MIIT. Academician Mr. Zhou Ji, Director of the Industrial Internet Strategy Consulting Experts Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), and Academician Mr. Wu Hequan, Deputy Director of the Committee and representatives from the Committee, CAC and the Industrial Internet Project Team attended the meeting. With the theme of “Enabled by Intelligence and Connectivity, Innovated by Integration and Interconnectivity”, the Industrial Internet Summit 2019 released major achievements, such as Industrial Internet Star Test Bed, Shuwei Industrial Internet Time Series Database, and announced winning teams of Industrial Database Contest and Industrial APP Contest. Representatives and experts from nearly 200 companies, including CASIC, Haier, Huawei, CHNG, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, 360, RootCloud, XCMG, ISESOL, YONYOU, K2Data, Yo-I, SiE, MaiDiYun, CQUPT, CSSCHPS, CSERVER, FOXCONN, SIEMENS, PTC, SAP, ABB, 3DS, IIC, IVI, etc., shared the best practices and exhibited the latest development of Industrial Internet. More than 5000 representatives from governments, enterprises and institutes attended the meeting.
